Meet your guide to AI for Nonprofits

Hi everyone, I’m thrilled to welcome you to the AI for Nonprofits Learning Series.

Twelve years ago, I founded a company that helped over 150,000 nonprofits harness the power of Facebook to expand their impact. Along the way, I had the privilege of training more than 5,000 nonprofit professionals in how to engage their communities and build lasting relationships through social media.

Today, I work inside a nonprofit applying technology and artificial intelligence to everyday impact, exploring how these emerging tools can amplify what we already do best; connect, create, and care.

I’ve always believed deeply in our capacity to be human, in our empathy, creativity, and collective intelligence. I believe that AI isn’t here to replace that; it’s here to support our human potential, to help us free up time, see patterns, and act more effectively in service of our missions.

My approach is rooted in regenerative business paradigms — building high-capacity teams that thrive through balance of will, function, and being. I bring a background in technology and human-centered design, and also in art and food, two creative practices that remind me daily of the power of care, craft, and community.

At heart, I’m passionate about building community and making the world a better place for everyone through collective action. That’s what this learning series is about: exploring how AI can help us work smarter, stay grounded, and unlock new possibilities for good.

Be first to know.
